Hairpins made of deer bone.
The bone is first boiled to remove flesh, fat and tendons before drying. Then the general shape is cut from the bone pipe before hours and hours of carving, filing and polishing.
The pins are approximately 21 and 22cm in length. Diameter of needles is 2-4mm.
